Positive expanding workloads and a new strategy, meant that the Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) charity needed to invest in a Project Management tool if this positive growth was to be sustained. Additionally, it needed the solution now. Due to this workload expansion it no longer had the resource or time for a full consultation and implementation process. A typical Microsoft Project implementation takes around three months. With PS+, GOSH could now implement Microsoft Project Online within an hour.

We implemented PS+ and provided advice on Project Online and Active Directory integration with existing infrastructure. The full implementation took less than ten days. Since adopting PS+, the team can now work and plan more effectively, as well as talk holistically about both the backlog and projects in progress using PS+ dashboard displays. These same dashboards make it easier for the team to feed information upwards, for example if it needs additional resources it can explain the ‘what’s and whys’. Taken together, these benefits will help the IT team manage projects that will better support the needs of the charity, promoting key objectives and answering long-term needs.
